In 2015 the CDR (Children of the Doolittle Raiders, Inc.) was incorporated as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization.  One of the goals of the CDR is to provide a scholarship program that awards scholarships to direct descendants of the Doolittle Raiders. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to an accredited college of the scholarship recipient’s choice.  Two scholarship recipients will be selected for 2018 in the amount of $2,500 each.

The scholarship program for Children of the Doolittle Raiders is also a mentoring program for students. Each recipient receiving the scholarship will be responsible for providing ten (10) hours of community service per semester, such as tutoring students or providing leadership skills by helping others.

The CDR and sponsors are proud to offer this opportunity for outstanding graduating seniors in 2018 who are direct descendants of Doolittle Raiders with current dues to CDR paid in full.

The committee reviewing applications for the scholarship program will consist of the CDR Board of Directors.

Scholarship applications (including test scores and high school transcripts) must be submitted to the president of the CDR by no later than April 1, 2018:
