Died July 12, 1967 at Dayton, Ohio

Graduated Younkers High School, Younkers, New York. Entered service on February 10, 1941. Completed training as a navigator and commissioned a Second Lieutenant at Pendleton, Oregon on December 6, 1941. Earned B.A. degree from Northland College, Ashland, Wisconsin and MA from Columbia University, New York, NY. Was prisoner of war of Japanese from April 1942 until August 1945. Retired for physical disability on September 16, 1947. Decorations include Distinguished Flying Cross, Chinese Breast Order of Pao Ting.  Was employed as a Management Analyst for the U.S. Army.
